Will they still need a business coach?

John Fox's sons are tackling the

world of school supplies - and helping

underprivileged students along

the way.

Cody (from left) and Mark Fox, both .

rising seniors at Charlotte Christian,

have spent the past two years developing

a protective cover for textbooks, a

response to the brothers' hefty fines

for beating up textbooks during the

course of a school year.

The Fox brothers took matters into

their hands and invented Book Jax,

which debuted at Staples stores this

month for $5.99 each. Made with gel

resin to protect spines and corners,

th~ jackets also feature slots for sliding

in photos, and they come in an array

of colors.

Book Jax debuted on PBS' Everyday

Edisons, the reality inventors' show

created by Charlotte firm Enventys.

The Foxes auditioned in San Diego

and, with help from the show's product-

development team, brought the

book jacket from prototype to retail.

As part of the rollout, the Fox brothers

have made a donation to Staples'

Do Something 101 campaign, aimed

at encouraging teens to donate school

supplies to underprivileged students.
